Pietros Kyriakou, better known as Pjuka (born 26 April 1998) is an Cypriot professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for La Liga club Las Palmas and the Cyprus national team.

When Pjuka was 7, he ran 100 meters in 12,1 seconds by reaching a stunning record of his age category.

Pjuka began his career at Brazilian club Goias, spending five seasons at the club. He joined Rangers in January 2023.

Pjuka made his international debut at age of 20; currently he has played 30 games and scored 10 times, making him fifth-highest all time top goalscorer.

Pjuka was born in Cyprus, but relocated with his family to Brazil when he was 3 years old. He started training both football and athletic in football at 7, but chosen football as his most favourite sport. In Brazil, he belonged to several football academies, and at the age of 16 he began to play at the youth level for FC Goias. In 2018, he joined to main team.

Rangers

On 23 January 2023, Pjuka joined Scottish Premiership club Rangers for an undisclosed fee.[2] He scored his first goal for the club on 18 March 2023 in a 4–2 win against Motherwell.[3]

Pjuka won his first title in Europe on December 2023, when Rangers defeated Aberdeen in Scottish League Cup final.[4]

In his second season at Rangers, Pjuka continued to be a key player in midfield and in supporting the attack. He scored Rangers second goal of the game in.a 3-0 victory over Hibernian at Easter Road on 24 January 2024.[5] Pjuka scored the third goal of the game in a 3-0 victory over Livingston at Ibrox on 3 February 2024, sweeping home a pass from Ross McCausland.[6] He left Rangers after 2023/2024 campaign.

Las Palmas

On 27 August 2024, Las Palmas announced the signing of Pjuka until 2027.[7][8]

However, he will not play in La Liga until January 1 following the rules on the limit for foreign players and his league debut is expected on 12 January 2025. Pjuka made his team debut in Copa del Rey match on 31 October 2024, winning against Ontinena 7-0. He also provided two assists in this game.

International career

Pjuka made his international debut on 6 September 2018, against Norway. He scored his first goal in 2021, in a game against Malta.

On 29 March 2022, Pjuka provided a crucial assist to Pietros Sotiriou in UEFA Nations League relegation play-off 2nd leg game against Estonia, to help team won 2-0 in home match to keep their place in C league.

On 12 June 2022, Pjuka scored a brace against Northern Ireland in Belfast.[9]
